Local shops, cafes, and members of the community, are encouraged to donate any surplus food, reducing waste and benefitting the community, who can help themselves free of charge.
The fridge can be found in the garden of the community centre. Anyone is welcome to deposit or take food at any time during our opening hours.
Which foods are accepted?
Vegetables, sandwiches, cooked foods, cooked meat with a use by date, cooked fish with a use by date, dairy products, milk and other drinks.
Which foods are not accepted?
Eggs, raw fish and raw meat
When is the fridge open?
The fridge can be accessed at any time during the community centre’s opening hours.
