Community Support Project

The Community Support Project provides 1-to-1 and 2-to-1 sessions for young people with a wide range of additional needs, supporting them out in the community. Be that trip to the seaside, taking part in pre-planned activities, or simply going for a cup of coffee and a chill. We provide person centred approach to our sessions and each session is tailored to meet the needs of the service user. The sessions are staffed by our team of Community Support Workers, whose primary role is to build positive and meaningful relationships with the young people they support, as well as providing much needed respite for families. We have been working hard to support an ever-growing number of families since the start of the pandemic and we’re very excited about the direction the project is going!
