Our community fridge, nestled in the welcoming garden of the community centre, is both of these things. It’s a beacon of hope, fueled by the generosity of local shops, cafes, and neighbours who donate their extra food. This creates a shared resource, a beautiful cycle of giving and receiving, ensuring everyone has access to nutritious food. Whether you have something to share or need a little help, our fridge is open. Come and be a part of this community caring for each other, a place where food nourishes both bodies and souls.
Local shops, cafes, and members of the community, are encouraged to donate any surplus food, reducing waste and benefitting the community, who can help themselves free of charge.
Anyone is welcome to deposit or take food at any time during our opening hours.
