Parent Support Group ALN Talk

We were contacted by the community to provide guidance and information about the opportunities available for young people with Additional Learning Needs in a local community. Therefore, on the 11th of April, the ‘Parent Support Group ALN Talk’ took place at Chinese Church in Canton.

We are delighted to have been able to facilitate this seminar, highlighting the work we have done and to champion partnership efforts. We used that ethos to arrange for a representative from the CHAD social services team to speak on the day. We also invited Chris Davies from the Adult services.

Mujib Yahaya, who is a youth worker at Cathay’s Community Centre, also introduced the opportunities that Cathays Community Centre can offer, as well as introduced Cardiff Youth services and other partners.
