Thursday Youth Club and Afterschool Club

CCYCP’s Thursday Youth Club was initiated in response to the needs and desires of the young people engaged in our local community. They expressed a desire for a space where they could meet and socialize with their peers. CCYCP’s Thursday Youth Club offers a relaxed atmosphere with plenty of opportunities for creativity, workshops, and music. Whether you’re interested in forming a band, gaming, cooking, arts and crafts, creative writing, or have an idea you’d like to bring to life, we welcome you to join us at Cathays Community Centre.

Our youth club operates year-round, providing activities and games designed to foster participation and support the development of young people. We actively involve young people in the planning and organization of the club, encouraging them to suggest trips, games, and activities.

Activities include trips, cooking sessions, football, table tennis, board games, animation, arts and crafts, physical and cognitive games, badminton, and dancing.
