How to learn bass, guitar, drums etc.?

Here at Cathays Community Centre, we are proud to be able to deliver 1 to 1 Music Mentoring sessions.

But what are 1 to 1 Music Mentoring sessions?

These are sessions where you join one of our talented music mentor staff, to learn about the musical area of your choice. For example, our staff have taught young people how to play bass guitar, drums, how to write & record vocals, and how to produce their own songs.

We offer 18 hours worth of tutoring, and we try to be as flexible as possible to meet your needs. We even offer the chance to teach your own session to one of our music team, to let you experience what it’s like to work/tutor in the Creative Industry.

Sessions are £19.96 an hour, but young people may be eligible for a subsidy from our Hardship Fund. Ages from 11 – 25. We look forward to working with you all.
