The members of the day provision are making up for the time they lost during the Pandemic. There are many activities on the go including a comedy club, drama, arts and crafts, music, dance, and social media sessions.
In March we had a week’s celebration for St David’s day where we learned about the welsh folklore, ate lots of Welsh cakes as well as did a traditional welsh singalong. With the grand finale being the Eisteddfod.
With the continued support from members’ subs collection, we have been able to buy some new equipment, which includes games, art and craft supplies, and most recently five gigantic beanbags, that have proven to be a hit.
Two weeks ago, the Day Provision performed Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Nights’ Dream.” – the performance that they prepared for over the past months. The event was very successful and many people came to watch the show. Thank you everyone for coming!
