Family Pathway is a specialist service, and we champion the voice for all of us, who are different. Our commitment is to include all those across our diverse community, equitably. We work with Cathays Community Centre, Ministry of Life (MOL) and New Era, to work with young people who need that additional next bit of support to be able to access a pathway to learning and/or work.
Our vision is to refurbish the community kitchen at Cathays Community Centre, whereby we will work with Young People who are not in learning and employment to develop further skills and qualifications to make nutritionally balanced meals, cater for large numbers, with all the food cooked onsite, to be donated to the Cathays Community Kitchen, for the Community across Cathays to access. In addition, we have developed further partnerships with local businesses to enable our Cooking Volunteers on this programme to access work in the community.
We need £4000 to refurbish Cathay’s Community Kitchen, and we need your help to make this happen. FamilyPathway is committed to Every Learner Succeeding Achieving – Access4ALL.
Once we have managed to attract the funding for this kitchen, with all regulations and standards being met, we will be using grant funding support for ongoing costs.
